The Purpose of This Book
30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.

Structure #
The Book of John has two main parts. Chapters 1-12 and Chapters 13-21
Prologue #
Verses 1:1–18
Signs #
For chapters 1:19-12 The target was to prove that Jesus was who he said he was.
Glory #
Chapters 13-20 bring glory to Jesus through the death and resurrection.
Conclusion #
Chapter 21 (there is sometimes more content in other cannons of the Bible)
